ADVERTISING FORMATS
We accept advertising material in many formats, including PDF, jpg, and
Word documents. We can provide design assistance. We also offer full
colour ads for a standard up-charge rate. Please ask for details
ADVERTISING PRICING
DISPLAY ADS (ads with images / graphics)
Pricing is $9.24 per column inch, plus GST
Examples:
A business card sized ad is 2 columns wide by 2 inches deep, and would
cost $36.96 plus GST, per insertion.
A quarter-page ad would be 3 columns wide by 8 inches deep, and would
cost $221.76 plus GST, per insertion

We have special discounts available:
For placing the same ad in both newspapers in the same week: 22% off.
For 6 ads in a 6 month period, 8% discount.
For 12 ads in a 6 month period, 10% discount.
For 24 ads in a 12 month period, 12% discount.
For 48 ads in a 6 month period, 14% discount.
Other discounts may apply at our discretion.
Business Directory ad sizes and prices are as follows:
1 column x 2 inches deep = $7.00/week = $168.00 for 6 months, $336.00
for a full year, plus GST
1 column x 1.5 inches deep (minimum size) = $5.50/week = $132.00 for 6
months, plus GST
NOTE: Business Directory ads must be paid 6 months in advance and cannot
be changed weekly. Minimum booking: 24 issues
CLASSIFIED ADS
Last Mountain Times: First 25 words: $5.00
The Market Connection: First 25 words: $6.00
Additional words:
• Last Mountain Times: 15 cents per word
• The Market Connection: 20 cents per word
Combined rate for both papers in same week:
• $9.00 for first 25 words
• 25 cents for each additional word.
