Last Mountain Times is a subscriber weekly newspaper based in Nokomis & Strasbourg, Saskatchewan. The newspaper has been published continuously since 1908 starting under the name Nokomis Times, and over the years the paper has absorbed other smaller newspapers that operated in the Last Mountain area. We are a member of the Saskatchewan Weekly Newspapers Association, the Canadian Community Newspapers Association, and the Audit Bureau of Circulations. Last Mountain Times is published on Tuesday, 48 weeks per year. Our controlled circulation sister publication, The Market Connection, is published 9 times per year concurrent with an issue of Last Mountain Times. Last Mountain Times

This is our subscriber-based newspaper, providing advertisers with more than 3800 weekly readers in more than 27 communities both east and west of Last Mountain Lake. We have subscribers in the following communities: Strasbourg, Nokomis, Govan, Semans, Bulyea, Raymore, Duval, Silton, Watrous, Earl Grey, Lockwood, Cymric, Craven, Southey, Lanigan, Drake, Imperial, Simpson, Lumsden, Regina, and Saskatoon.

The Market Connection

No other newspaper provides as extensive coverage in this area. Your advertising message will reach 31,000 customers with a single issue (based on 2.9 persons per household). This free “mailer” goes to everyone with a mailbox in the designated coverage area: Hanley, Davidson and Watrous in the north and west; Ituna and Kelliher in the east; and Lumsden in the south. The Market Connection is published concurrently with an issue of Last Mountain Times, and is distributed nine times a year, generally the third Tuesday of the month.

We are also the official publishers of Notes from Over the Hill by Martha Morgan, her second book of collected weekly newspaper columns.
